One day, we challenged ourselves to go out downtown without Gini.  Some people casually talked to us, giving us advice or just making conversation.  We made the mistake of getting on the wrong bus going back to Gini’s house, but it was an adventure we’ll always remember. I felt Gini and her family were very thoughtful people.  I was satisfied with my home-stay experience and glad that I took the plunge!  It was nice to not only visit a foreign country for sightseeing, but also to stay with and be part of a family.  When I think about homestay experience and my interaction with my host family and their neighbors, I feel very happy.  My experience was more precious than words can explain.
